I read because I think that reading lets you use your
imagination when you are picturing the setting, the characters in the book and
the visuals that you are given. I think that books are better than movies
because when you are watching movies all the visuals are just given to you and
you can’t think for yourself about how things are visualized. When you read you
actually have to think about what is going on for you to understand whats going on and it
challenges your brain more which is a amazing thing. I think that reading
more helps the imagination grow on its own. I think that you should start
reading at a young age so you can get comfortable with it and you can expand
your reading subjects at an early age. I like to read when I am in my room
alone with no distractions. When there is someone with me while I am reading I
can’t concentrate enough to actually understand what I’m reading. I only like
to read when I can connect with a book well and I can continuolsy read it without putting it down. If I don’t
have any connection or enjoy the book I’m reading I most likely won’t be able to
finish it.
